eHealth Partners With Humana to Distribute Medicare Products Via the Web

Humana Inc. said it had arranged for eHealth Inc. to distribute the insurer’s Medicare Advantage, Part D and Medicare supplement products through eHealth’s Medicare website. But one equities analyst questions whether seniors will shop online.
The deal expands on an existing retail partnership between the two companies to grow Humana’s market share for individual and family plan products. “That allowed us to open the door for conversations about retailing Medicare products online,”
